New Truck

As most of you know I sold Ole Pinky a couple months ago and wasn't sure what i was gonna do. I decided I wanted another truck and had a few criteria I wasn't gonna deviate from looking for my next truck. I wanted a turn key truck with factory A/C that worked and I wanted it as original as possible and of course rust free. After couple months of looking ( which isn't very long) I found my truck last week and after 3 nights of phone calls I made the deal Wednesday night and sent deposit. The truck is 850 miles away and a friend is going to drive me in his car to go get it next week and I'm gonna drive her home.

Re: New Truck

Great looking Highlander for sure and the Custom Two-Tone really adds to it. :-)
Having a chase/gopher car should make the trip home an enjoyable adventure. Don't forget the pictures along the way.

Yes I'd like to send pics but when sent from my IPad they always come out sideways on the thread. Anyone know how to cure that?

Re: New Truck

Thanks for all the positive responses. At my age not much gets me excited anymore, you know-been there, done that - type of thing, but getting this truck has me revved. I have always wanted to go to truck and car meets that are far away, like the C10 Club in Cali every fall and now I have the truck to do a 1500 mile trip.

Don't forget a video too. I've always enjoyed watching these trucks roll down the road.

They will be coming off. The truck will either get 15 x 8 Rallys or 15 x 8's with P01's ( my preference but finding a good set may be difficult and expensive ) and will ride on P255/70R15's.

Re: New Truck

Loving the new truck...
On the pics...
I have learned that taking pictures on my I phone always works out correct with the button to the right when taking the pics. I don't take pics with my iPad but would think if the button is on your right thumb the orientation should be correct too.
Good luck on the trip and god speed.

Thank goodness the AC works, I hear winters in Saskatoon can be sweltering

Good job finding a rig, especially so close to you. I know you are pretty particular about your rigs. I hope its everything you want it to be.

I know that truck, it lives 2 blocks from me. Kyle is a great guy, a fellow 67-72 fan. Let me know if you need anything.

Wow, is that a coincidence. I'll be there next Saturday morning if you want to stop an say hi. Yes, Kyle has been very honest and open in our dealings. So does the truck look as good in the flesh as it does in the pics ?
