Gearvendors Overdrive Anybody using one?

I know there is talk about these on here but really havent heard anybody using one. I know they are pricey and a 700 tranny would probably be plenty for me. I am just wondering how fast and how well they shift in and out. I understand you can shift between each gear to get 6 automatic speeds. Sounds good but what does the users think?
Tell us about them if you have one (or know someone that does)
Thanks
Dave

a gear vendors unit would be pretty sweet, but they are prohibitively expensive. i would rather do a Clark or NV4500, or even an NV5600 swap. Those would be expensive too, I guess getting OD for these old vehicles just aint cheap. altho the gear vendors would net me more overall gears (8 vs. 5 or 6, and 4 now).
