carpet measuring
ive decided to do my own carpet on my truck. so the big question is how do I measure it? I know I need it 62 inches wide and 94 inches long. the upholstery shops carpet is 72 inches wide. so when he ask how many square feet I need what is it? thanx

I see 18 people have viewed this with no answer, so here's my 2cent worth. If you really need the square feet it's 72" (6 ft) X 94" call it (8 ft) or 48 square feet. Since it comes 72" wide, just make sure it's 96 " long and you should be OK....Jim

Yes, as Oldman3 mentioned above 48 square ft should do it just make sure it is 6 ft by 8 ft.

I figured it out I remember its linear yards so I need 3 linear yards worth now to figure out the color lol
