Original drive shaft on a 60 Apache 10 Short bed
Hello everyone,
My name is Art from THAILAND. I just bought a 1960 Apache 10 Short bed stepside. Unfortunately, The truck got no engine and drive shaft. I'm not sure if the truck got one piece drive shaft or 2 pieces with drive shaft support originally. Would be good if anybody can show me some photos how the original drive shaft look like and how the driveshaft center support bearing mount on the chassis. I'm putting a chevy 350 TBI and 4L60E on my truck. Thank you very much. Art |

Welcome the forum Art
I do believe your shortbed would have come with a single piece driveshaft.

Re: Original drive shaft on a 60 Apache 10 Short bed
Thank you Captainfab.
I might want to go for 2 pieces drive shaft because it would be better for Lowered. Does anybody have photos of 2 pieces drive shaft setup on these 60-62 truck? |
