What size hole are the frame rivets in?
Hello, I need to know what size hole the frame rivets are. I need to drill some new holes but do not have any drill bits that large nor do I have any measuring devices I trust to be accurate enough to make a snug fit. Thank you

I found most of them to be somewhere between 3/8 and 7/16. The 3/8 bolts seemed to fit quite loosely so I ended up boring out the holes with a 7/16 bit for a tight fit.

The holes are 10mm or you can use a letter X drill bit. I usually drill to 7/16 and use a fine thread grade 8 bolt and torque to70 lbs.

x3 on spending the time to drill a clean, ROUND hole for a 7/16 bolt instead of the beat up ~3/8 holes. My whole C10 frame is done this way, my Blazer is getting there
