What is the size of the bolt for the harmonic balancer?
Guys, I am in the process of changing out the timing gears on my '66 C10 250. The bolt is missing that fastens the harmonic balancer to the crank shaft. Anyone know the specs of this bolt? Thank you.

Re: What is the size of the bolt for the harmonic balancer?
This is an inline 6 (250), correct? They are not drilled and tapped for a bolt. The balancer is a press fit and nothing holds it on. You can drill and tap the crank. I did on my 250. Used 3 different drill sized to get to the needed tap size. You can use the same bolt as a SBC (IIRC 7/16" fine thread).

Chevy Mike, Thanks! I was scratching my head on this one. I don't think I am going to start tapping the crank shaft. If it was good for 50 years, who am I to change it, lol.
