Sun Visors
I checked the FAQ's and couldn't find anything so I'll ask here. When I was driving my new truck back from South Dakota the sun got real low in the sky and I had to use the visor but needed it against the door. Its made to swivel that way but was so stiff I was worried I'd break it getting it over to the door. Does anyone know how to fix this. Can I just shoot WD-40 or some kind of lube on the swivel point to get it to work proper. I was gonna shoot it with WD40 but though I'd ask here first.

Re: Sun Visors
Remove it from the truck. You may find the big spring has slightly rusted itself to the back of the mount.

Re: Sun Visors
I'd probably use silicone just because I don't know how WD-40, which I think is petroleum based, will affect the visor material and whatever that bushing is made from.

Re: Sun Visors
Yes some kind of lube is need weather it's WD are something else. Just keep it off the visor material. You need it down inside the spring the bast you can get it also.

Re: Sun Visors
those things are nice and clean!! Looks repainted. maybe some paint sticking the spring to where it spins. i say just push harder till it loosens up. I wouldnt chance getting any DW (yes i call it that) on those white visors or even the hard parts.
