What up with Craigslist?
What's going on with them? I was on earlier today and now nothing. I have heard a few people say but they are having trouble with it but nothing for sure. Anybody else having the same issue?

ABC news had a deal on them last week about allowing the sale of recalled products. Maybe they took it down until they figure out how to get the bugs worked out. ???

Maybe they are revamping after the abc story. I watched that story and they way they tried to vilify the creator of craigslist was rediculous. When buying used its buyer beware period. The bumbo parents who were the focus of the story were morons.

This isn't a 67-72 GM Truck related message, but I just came from there and I got on, looked at first vehicle, then no matter what I do I get a website development site. The truck I saw had just been listed and I am interested, but now I can't get back to it. Now I'm sorry I didn't contact them before going to see what else is on there. I'm not snoozin' but I think I'm losin'

Search Tempest isn't working either so they must have taken the whole craigslist site down. It will find the ads but times out when trying to view them LockDoc

I just got on to CL without probs and was able to view ads. Verified that the content was not from my browser cache. Maybe it's a regional problem with the internet. -Ed

Northern NJ Craigslist wasn't working this morning either! All of the other NJ areas were working. Looks like it is up and running now though.

I haven't looked at the link Loc Doc posted, so this may be moot. I doubt it's regional people aren't getting on in various regions, like Im in Maryland and others are in various parts of the country. My guess is intermittent, because people started posting they got it, then back to others posting no go. And, it's not acting the same for all.

I got tired of it still not working for me on my home network and did a little digging. I'm an AT&T Uverse customer and have used Googles DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) on my router and every device attached to it for years. It appears that AT&T isn't allowing Googles DNS to work anymore for whatever reason. After changing my DNS server address's to what AT&T use's 99.99.99.53, craigslist.org will now resolve and works fine on all my devices. I had no trouble getting to any other sites, just craigslist and I would imagine anyone else using Googles DNS will be having the same problem.
Just thought I would share, someone may find it useful. Jeff

I cant get on if i try Craigslist.org, It comes up with some digital gangster crap, BUT if i click on an old link to a item from my history i get right in, you just cant get to the home page you have to navigate with the drop down lists
