Probably not. In my estimation that price is not a steal of a deal. LockDoc

Re: Craigslist Cst
I just thought it was strange they would advertise this truck on craiglist so far from where it's from. I agree the price is about normal. I guess I should call but I have too many trucks already. Lol

Re: Craigslist Cst
Saw this in a few places. More and more I'm seeing saturation ads by people who want to think their truck is valuable and rare. This also against Craigslist rules BTW to post an ad out or your area.
While it might very well be an original CST the added chrome upper trim and side white panels have me wanting to see documentation for anything. As far as being a Custom Camper its not rare and only required qualifying options. Bigger engine and HD tras are hype due to misinformation or intent. Being a small block and modified (including a color change) it is probably at or above its market price point.

Re: Craigslist Cst
I was wondering about the upper trim and two tone paint. Thought that was odd for the year. Thanks Tim.

Re: Craigslist Cst
To me, the paint job is a clear respray. GM would have never painted a vehicle, then added the trim, then taped off the trim and painted around it, which is what I clearly see in the pic below. The upper trim looks like it might be that aftermarket roll and stick stuff. Can't really tell though, pics kinda suck.
Still a cool truck. If it actually runs and drives it's a pretty dang good deal!

Re: Craigslist Cst
The truck may be an original white with med blue interior truck (which is what my stepside was). So that may be original paint under the respray. You can see in the pic below that new white paint was painted over old white paint.

Re: Craigslist Cst
With that paint its possible it has some rust issues. But who knows until someone checks it out.

Re: Craigslist Cst
The truck appears to be an original white truck (looking at the firewall) and the blue carpet might be original.
Rust is whole different matter. The kickpanel being eaten just underscores the extent.
