New project... 70' C20 flatbed
I'm new on here, and this is my current newest project. Found it online near my area and ended up being a guy I work with. Picked it up on the cheap. Paint was already done and it has a good running 350. It really only needs minor fixes, some trim and a few badges, wipers, mirrors and some misc interior stuff. All in all not that much. Plans for now are to strip the flatbed to bare minimum and rebuild it, I haven't been able to find a decent long box on the cheap. Plus it's winter here and working in the cold sucks. Im going to put the bucket seats from my 03 silverado in while I'm finishing interior. It will be a slower build since I'd like to keep it driveable. Possibly a big block in the future? Who knows. Hoping to tow a gooseneck horse trailer next summer. So any advice, criticism, knowledge, and general know how is appreciated. I will post more photos as progress continues.... |

Re: New project... 70' C20 flatbed
I live in central minnesota myself. Nice pickup. It would maybe look better with a box, but flatbeds are awesome if you plan on using it. Nothing wrong with a sharp old 3/4 ton with a flat bed. I wish I had one. Definitely on my list. To bad we have these outrageous heat bills to pay while the pickup has to sit.
