Front clip for 56 Chevy Truck
Hi Guys
Im sure you've been asked this a thousand times already but what is the best front clip for a 56 Chevy truck? Some have said a 2nd Gen Camaro, some say Crown Vic, some say to use an entire S10 frame - what is best? Would a 79 Blazer work? (I have one of these sitting around but guessing it might be too big). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike |

Re: Front clip for 56 Chevy Truck
Honestly i would use weld in ifs kit that many companies make,Or if i had to do a frame swap http://www.e-zchassisswaps.com/kit.php?category=5 I'm not a fan of clipping a frame it has to be done right or you'll have tons of problems. And being used you have to rebuild the whole suspension and steering. You could spend a little more and get a ifs kit like http://www.nolimitengineering.com/pr...tegory=6157546 http://www.scottshotrods.com/front-s...rd-weld-on-ifs

Re: Front clip for 56 Chevy Truck
Porterbuilt makes a killer front suspension for these trucks if you want to spend some coin.
