chrush sleeve

ck this out--I guess they couldn't spend $3.50 for a new crush sleeve. a little weld would stiffen it up lol!

WTF. I guess that rear was coming apart due to an issue with said crush sleeve?

cableguyO---this was in a third member i just bought. It must have blown up at one time as the ring & pinion look good and it had all new bearings that look new.( but not crush sleeve ?) also found a ring gear tooth in the cavity under the rear pinion bearing. going to put it back together and see if it quieter than mine. this is a eaton 55-62 chevy tk rear. I have seen some s#$t in my day but this is one of the best lol!
