First year progress
It has now been a year since I bought my 68 GMC. In that time I have gathered up enough of it to actually make it road worthy from a very incomplete rolling shell. Having been my first year married, and spending most of my time and pesos keeping my bride happy (buying a house and paying off all my debt) I didn't get to have it as far along as I wanted to, but it's a good start. It was used as a parts truck, and it's next stop was most likely the top of the scrap heap. Glad I could bring it back from the dead.

Re: First year progress
Ha ha it looks that way huh!? I bought that bed because the one that was on my truck when I bought it was a stepside, but it had the wrong fenders on it. I couldn't find a bed or fenders locally anywhere until I came across someone selling a trailer that they used for duck hunting. Which is why it has that god awful corn field looking paint job. Btw, I figured out that truck bed trailers are a gold mine for classic truck beds for next to nothing because 90% of people don't have a clue what they have. I bought that trailer for $275. I highly recommend people looking into them if they are having trouble finding one.

Re: First year progress
I've been looking for a truck bed trailer for a couple years now, I'd like to have a fleet side painted to match my truck so I can swap em out when I'm tired of what I'm running now. Congratulations on that truck, it looks good to have accomplished so much in a year, and I'm glad you saved it from the scrap heap too.
