static drop and wheel size
Hi guys! Im sure this question has been asked a billion times but I really couldn't find the answers I was looking for. I have a 1970 swb. It has rear trailing arms. It has 2.5 in. drop spindles in the front and 3in. Drop springs in the rear. Im wanting to put 2in. Springs on the front and I figured the rear would have to at least have a 6in. Drop to have it set level. So all together it would have a 4.5/6 drop. Would I have to notch the frame at all if I went with 6 in the rear or even 7? I know I will need to buy an adjustable trac bar and shock relocaters. What are the best shocks you guys have had experience with on a dropped truck? I was also wanting to know what the biggest size wheel and tire combo I can go with on that kind of drop with out killing my wheels tubs and being able to have a decent turning radius. Its 6 lug disc in the front and original 6 lug drums out back. I was also wondering about width. Seen most guys running a 20×8.5 front and 20×10 in rear. Or bigger. Thanks in advance
