Help with porterbuilt rack heim to spindle
I need help or more info on the heim to spindle connection. There are two misalignment spacers per side and the pics on the instructions are not clear. I drilled out my spindle to 5/8 and the bolt will now pass thru but the question is how to install the funny misalignment spacers. They do not fit inside the spindle. Any suggestions or pics would be very helpful.

Re: Help with porterbuilt rack heim to spindle
The misalignments fit inside the heim. Only the bolt goes through the spindle.

Re: Help with porterbuilt rack heim to spindle
Why the difference? Are the 3/4 bore for a particular year of spindle?

Re: Help with porterbuilt rack heim to spindle
The larger bore size is needed so you can use the spacers. The misalignment spacers fit into the 3/4 heim and are needed so that the heim will have freedom to move and not bind up as the suspension moves. You will still you the 5/8 bolt and spindle will have to be drilled out to the recommended 5/8. Hope this helps.
