going to be converting my drums to disk in the front will I need to change the brake pedal assy out to

No. Pedal assemblies are all the same, comparing auto to auto, manual to manual. I did mine about 12 years ago... I do think you need to have the connecting rod for a power booster, but it's been a long time...
