Anyone have any info?!
So I have shaved my door handles but I'm not sure how to mount the kit so to speak inside the door. Anyone else who has done this have any ideas on where to mount it so it won't hit my window?! Thanks for the advice.

Re: Anyone have any info?!
I had saved one pic of where to mount the solenoid. Drilled a small hole straight in line to the latch making the cable tight with no slack. Hope this helps..

Re: Anyone have any info?!
I left the internals of the standard door handle so everything is stock inside and usable. I have this slight fear of being submerged in a river and not getting out..ha ha unfounded maybe but makes me comfortable..

Re: Anyone have any info?!
I worked on this yesterday on mine. Instead of directly below the latch, I mounted mine on the side facing the interior. I didn't want the bolt heads exposed when I open the door, so I put them behind the door panel. I haven't hooked it all up yet, but I hope it will pull the latch fine.

Re: Anyone have any info?!
Depends on where you drill your latch for your cable important to keep a straight pull regardless of where you mount them with no interference in operation of the window.

Re: Anyone have any info?!
Drilling the latch was fun. I could tell it was hardened steel. I broke probably 10 bits. masonry bit was the only one that could handle it

Re: Anyone have any info?!
You guys rock. Thanks. And ya I found a location where the door panel will hide the bolts as well. I'll post some photos of it. Thanks for the info gentleman
