Re: 1967 C-10 Build
I'm in. Are you going to run a cowl hood? Looks like the air cleaner sticks out above the hood line when aired out.

Re: 1967 C-10 Build
I'm going to have to change out the intake to a lower rise, and change out the tall air filter as well. I wanna keep the factory hood. I will be going with the Raceline hooligans in a 24x10's for the rears and a 22x8.5's for the fronts.

Re: 1967 C-10 Build
Awesome build so far. I've got a lot of the same parts for mine but I'm WAY behind you on progress. I'll be following along for this one.

Re: 1967 C-10 Build
I got my wheels in for the truck. There Raceline Hooligans 24x10 5.5bs on the rears and 22x8.5 with a 5.5bs up front. The tires are Nitto 420s 285/30/24 and 265/35/22. The front tires I will have to go with a smaller size due to them hitting the hood when layed out. Most likely will go with a 255/30/22. I ended up getting new bumpers, grille trim, and headlight bezels and took it out to Lonestar Throwdown in Conroe,Tx.

Re: 1967 C-10 Build
And I ended up pulling the truck back apart after the show so I can go ahead and install the new one piece trailing arm cross member from Porterbuilt and get ready to install my motor, transmission, and drive shaft. And while its back apart I'm going to go ahead and take some more stuff to powder coating and run my brake lines and install the Porterbuilt tank and compressor mounts.

Re: 1967 C-10 Build
The 1 piece trailing arm from Porterbuilt finally came in. I was able to install my drive shaft and transmission, and start on my driveshaft tunnel and raising the rest of the floor for the trailing arm crossmember.

Re: 1967 C-10 Build
Awesome build !! I have a 67 GMC that I am working on with my wife and kids. I have always used Bell Tech products on my other 80's models but I have noticed that nobody seems to be using them. Is there a reason I need to know about ?

Re: 1967 C-10 Build
Sweet build! Truck looks great. What are you doing for rear wheel tubz? Check out my ChubTubz,
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=676606 Also, if you are using PBFab hood hinges, I make a bolt on hood bracket so you don't have to weld to your hood, http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=679945
