Wheel Spacer?
I'm getting ready to lower my '85 Burb with Western Chassis 2.5" drop spindles. I'd really like to keep my present 1980's aluminum wheels, but I measured backspacing this morning at 3-5/8". From what I've read, anything more than 3-1/2" can be a problem.
I found these 1/8" spacers http://www.summitracing.com/parts/gor-sp601s/overview/. I'm pretty sure there's still enough stud thread with the spacers. What do you folks think?

Re: Wheel Spacer?
I just today used those on my 62....Needed that extra 1/4" on the inside rear bedside. They worked good to fine tune the backspacing for me...good luck

Re: Wheel Spacer?
IMO spacer are not the best way to adjust wheel alignment. They can work, the more STRESS/load they carry, the more problems you can have. Forged are much better the cast!! The cast one are more likely to compress/ move under high loads, causing studs to break. Check your wheel lug torque frequently, especially when first installed.
