What is the best (WAG) 110v drop light in you opinion
Before you tell me to get one, I do own a quality LED head lamp (thanks).
I just replaced two fluorescent tubes in two of my work lights. I am thinking I want to pick up a replacement. I am wanting to purchase an LED type, but I am wanting to pick up one that provides decent amount of light. I have found listings that range all the way from 36 <> 110 LED counts. Are there advantages from one over the other ? |

I'm glad you are not talking incandescent. Those things start fires.
I have 3 of the 60 LED ones from ATD. I can't remember the name right now. Mine are cordless. I hate having a cord to trip over or get under the wheels of a creeper

I recently bought a 60 LED one from Jegs. Pleased with its construction and the illumination. The price wasn't bad either. On Edit: However you may not be interested as it is cordless.

I have three banks/rows of 16ft T-8 fluorescent lights installed in my 3 bay garage. I learned a long time ago, back when I could still see, you can't have too much light

We got a drop light like this from Lowe's ... cheap $22, durable, cordless, charger for 110v outlet or 12v car plug...love it!

Re: What is the best (WAG) 110v drop light in you opinion
I have a cheapy china made cordless LED one from who knows where... got it from my Bro-in-law for Christmas one year. Works awesome and has a pretty long battery life. I've had it almost 8 years. I also have another cordless LED one from Sears Craftsman. It's just as good and only cost about 30 bucks. Bonus that it has an adjustable magnet on it along with a hook.
Now that I have these two, my corded retractable drop light that hangs from the ceiling just gathers cobwebs. Gary
