1967 3/4 ton Chevrolet pickup with bolt on frame camper
Hi, just wondering if anyone has seen or know what a 1967 3/4 ton 2wd Chevrolet pickup with a factory bolt on cabover camper is worth.
It has original 60,000 miles, 3spd standard with 283 4barrel. Cab and front end is in Mint shape, camper/rv needs some tlc, probably has water damage. Original split rims, tires, and hubcaps are still on vehicle. The truck colour is mint green. Talked to the lady that owns it today, husband passed away 3yrs ago, she doesnt know what it is worth. Anyone has any info or pictures please let me know. Thanks |

Those are more rare than the dual rear 30s. It's a nice size. It will be hard to find a comparison. Condition of the truck is most important and if the camper is still salvageable, then it will ad value. Otherwise it's a liability for the buyer and maybe hold the price down. I'll stab at it with a couple/few thousand

Thanks for the info. Camper is probably rotten in a few spots, considering our climate in North West Coast. Truck cab and fenders really clean original paint. Was thinking about the new Fast and furious movie with the 67 scene with tanker. Make a nice rat rod, look for 502 or big block. Gonna offer $1500-2000k. See what she says. Will post some picture when I get them. I attached a few pictures of trucks

It's been awhile since I have been on the site. Getting close to getting the 1967 3/4 ton cab over camper. I talked to the owner a few weeks ago. She is asking for $2,600, I offered her $2000, she didn't bite. Might see if she will meet me half way. The truck has 60k original miles, checked under the hood, has a V8 4bbl carb. I checked in the glove box and original option sheet said 327 4bbl, 4spd, duel heater. Interior is super clean, camper needs work. I bought 3 set of rims 16" x 7", 16" x 8" steel rims, and 16" x 10" steel rims today. Gonna take the cab over camper off restore it and run a flat deck on frame. Should look good with either 7" or 8" wide rims up front and the 10" wide in rear. Might drop it down a little also. Will post some pictures soon. Any comments or pictures of similar 67 would be great. Thanks

Re: 1967 3/4 ton Chevrolet pickup with bolt on frame camper
Going to do a clean out the cab tomorrow and take a good look at camper, if to rough might end up going to dump, would like to keep it, just not into a big project or rebuild. Will attach a couple more pictures. Have home in a week, spend time getting it back to life. Wheelbase is around 150" longer than longhorn. Comments from anyone.

Last couple pictures of 67, will get more in a few days. Bought 4 rims 10" wide x 16" and 4 rims 8" wide x 16". Thinking 10" on rear, and 8" on front.

wow cool! super nice interior. and it appears the back of the cab is not cut?? interesting that it's a z62 custom cab with chrome caps but no other stainless trim. can't wait to see more.

Re: 1967 3/4 ton Chevrolet pickup with bolt on frame camper
I love that thing. I hope the camper structure is good. I'd want to keep it a camper. I'd like to rebuilt one. I would gut the interior anyway, if it wasn't still decent. The skin can be carefully removed and reinstalled after any bad wood replaced.
That's a good observation. The window trim is lacking, too. I first thought maybe it was a cab & chassis model, but in '67 those and Stepsides came with cab trim.

Re: 1967 3/4 ton Chevrolet pickup with bolt on frame camper
Bought a ZZ4 Chevrolet crate motor yesterday, couldn't pass it up. 2k for a 350 cubic inch, 4 bolt main, vortec heads, roller cam and rpm performer intake. 400hp 400ft lbs torque. Gonna pull the 327 and go through it make sure it's done right prior to putting it back in. can't wait to get going on my new hauler.

Re: 1967 3/4 ton Chevrolet pickup with bolt on frame camper
The best news is most of the camper conversions have the rear of the cab cut open for a pass thru, yours does not, so if you decide the camper is too rotten to repair you can always make it a flat bed or even shorten the frame and put a pickup bed on it. Also with the cab over it has protected the cab a great deal from rain and snow, for your area this should be a minimal rust cab.
