Oil dipstick tube removal?
I need someone that has a little experience with the dipstick tube/heat stove.
I'm fighting the install of my heat riser stove outside cover piece. It seems it would fit except the oil dipstick tube is in the way. Either I have to pull it, or figure out how to trim away part of the shield case (last resort). Or lift the engine, or ??? Do you typically pull the tube out of the block? Is it reusable then? Seems to me the shield should slide right on, and then comes the fight to reinstall the lower screws. I've got the original spark plug shields there too. Any ideas?

Re: Oil dipstick tube removal?
I apologize for wasting bandwidth. I looked at again after a break and voila!

Sometimes you just have to talk things out.
