Re: my new 72
I'm excited to see how much of the surface rust comes off or weather it's just dirt or what. She looks a bit rusty; I hope you don't end up with Swiss Cheese.

Re: my new 72
so im making progress on the truck.
got the front suspension done, wiring figured out, got a new carb and fired it up. runs good at this point. had the rear end jacked up. put in it gear to see if the rear brakes work and they do. so im hoping tomorrow I can take it around the block for the first time. I cleaned the red paint on the top of the bed to see how it was going to look all buffed out and I think its going to look pretty nice. |

Re: my new 72
Not sure if those wheels blend well with the character of the truck. Oh well. :-D
Don't throw out those old wheels! I'm sure someone out there will gladly take them off your hands! Those old hubcaps, my truck had a set of those when I was a kid. They were apparently removed when I uncle owned it. Can't wait to be able to replace them someday! Can we see some pics of the engine? I love old stockers!
