How hard to take the side trim off
I want to start taking the trim off as some of it is already off and the other is in bad shape. What has already been taken off left behind like a white foam tape backing. Will a rubber wheel take that off or do I need to try to get that off before using the wheel. Is there any certain process I should use to take the trim off and get all the adhesive off so I can order new trim. Will the wheel hurt the paint any? That way if I don't get around to putting it on for a while then at least it will look presentable.

Re: How hard to take the side trim off
What i have used is a heat gun and a plastic bondo spreader to remove most stuck on trim.Just go slow and easy and you won't pull off any paint. And yes the rubber wheel will take off the tape and left over glue.

I used fishing string, and the 3/M eraser with good results.

Re: How hard to take the side trim off
To remove the tape residue, my wife's fingernail polish remover always works in a pinch, when acetone is not around. I second the fishing line to cut the tape loose from the trim/bed.
