Re: How about some pics of lowered c10s/r10s on torq thrusts!!
Funny you should ask...I just purchased these wheels and tires a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with them.
These are 20x8 in the front with 245 40 20 and 20x10 rear with 305 35 20. The front has a 4.5" backspace and the rears have 5.75". I plan on running a longer hardened stud on the rear axles so I can use a 1/2" spacer per side to push them closer to the fender. They don't rub but they would look better out further IMO. |

Thanks! It actually rides really nice to. I'm currently working on a separate frame to get it on air but progress is very slow due to my schedule.

I understand that. I have almost the same suspension set up on my 87. Really like 20" rims, but the 17s with meaty rear tires give it more of a muscle look.

Re: How about some pics of lowered c10s/r10s on torq thrusts!!
The 17" chrome tt2s is the way I'm going, then I'll ditch the 15" polished ones that are in it now. I prefer the muscle truck look that 17's give like bluexs has
Here's the one I keep going back to, it's classic87's before he went to 20s |

Re: How about some pics of lowered c10s/r10s on torq thrusts!!
I think they are 4.5" on the front and 5.5" on the rear, but I'm also running 1.25" spacers on the rear to bring them out as far as possible.

Re: How about some pics of lowered c10s/r10s on torq thrusts!!
Thank you sir, and yes you are correct. That pic was recently when motor swap was done. The truck had a higher compression 468 that I had to run good fuel in and at $7.99 a gallon it don't make daily driving reasonable! It now has a flat top 468 that runs on 93.

One of the best, if not THE BEST looking wheels for our trucks. They all look great guys.

Re: How about some pics of lowered c10s/r10s on torq thrusts!!
Great looking wheels and a lot of really nice trucks. I too love the torq thrusts! Right up there with Cragars, Ansens, Weld Drag-stars or stock-steelies.
Personally, I am not a fan of anything over 16" but that's my preference... And I have to admit, they still look good in the larger sizes. |
