Torn between trucks

I recently got my 64 C20 back on the road. Fiberglassed the holes in the floor, put carpet in it, and a few other odds and ends. Has a crate 350 in it and runs great. Starts great in the cold and everything. has original wood floor int he bed in great shape as well, shes just rusty. But now a 64 K20 has come up for sale with very little rust on it. It doesnt have a bed but it is a big back window, factory 4wd with power steering. New tires on it with a flat bed. I can get it for 1800 runs and drives rebuilt 350 etc. But Ive grown a little attached to my C20 that im not sure what to do. i could buy the K20 and swap beds and other little odds and ends and send the C20 down the road while keeping the K20. Not sure...All i know is one has to go so one can stay. Not sure which t do lol

Re: Torn between trucks

Less rust is always a motivator. Plus it has factory 4x4 and it's pretty cheap. If it was me I would go for the K :-)

Keep the C20...I'll take the K20 so it won't tempt you any longer. Of course, I will provide a finders fee...jon

there are quite a few converted 4 x 4s though that may not be proper

Re: Torn between trucks

get the (K) and work on it while you continue to drive the (C) and then make your mind up ...Never know you might just grow attached to BOTH of them (I know i would)

Re: Torn between trucks

Bought it this morning for $700. Clean title, told him he could keep the flatbed since it had been cut up. Floors and supports are rock solid, above the windshield however is a couple of soft spots on the inside, but it's s factory 4wd l, factory tach, big window pickup! I will post pictures when I get it home

Re: Torn between trucks

I'm pretty stoked about it. When I find a bed I'll put it on and drive it probably when it's crappy out or snowy..I say that now but it will change
