Fender height

Can anyone help me with a measurement. I am trying to determine if my truck will sit level. Right now their is no engine. On a level truck I would like to know the distance from the floor to the bottom of the fender lip. I know the from fender lip is higher I need to know the difference. Right now my front fender is 8" higher than the rear and I am guessing the engine will bring down the front about 2"

I know when I put 74 axles on the stock 220K mile springs I needed a 4" back lift (tallest manf. made one at that time) to get mine almost level with the front axle on the spring. Since I added a little more weight in the front with this build it sits level, but kept the provisions for the air shocks I used to run, loading the bed made the tail drop. Can't help with measurements because I can't get to the tires to fully air them up! Its snuggly put away for winter. Here is a pic from 85 right after I got it done. Yours looks like it has been lifted on both ends, look at the front tire (28" tall on 16" rims) to fender distance on mine compared to yours.

Jack the rear up till a the rocker checks level and measure away.

Everyone's truck that is 4x4 is going to be slightly different in height and using someone else's measurements would only be a loose baseline to go by. I'd do pretty much as OrrieG said he did and get it all set up with the engine and transfer and what not in place and then level it by installing the right size lift blocks in the rear. A bit of patience will trump buying a second set of blocks.
