Glove box adjustment?

On my 87, I've adjusted the top "hoop" as far back as it will go, but it's still loose. (the rubber stops are present). Does it adjust from underneath as well?

Re: Glove box adjustment?

The plastic inner box actually attaches with screws into the lower dash. Check and see if any of the plastic is broken.

Re: Glove box adjustment?

Not period correct, but I put foam door weatherstripping from the hardware store around the inside edge of the glove box door to stop rattling. That should also take up some space and maybe fix your problem.
