Steering column 101
I'm in the market for a column for my 1977 C10 2wd. I measure it right at 35" long. I'm not finding one in the aftermarket that length. What is the correct way to measure a steering column? I'm measuring it from the end that bolts to the steering shaft to the area right below where the wheel mounts.

Re: Steering column 101
Is there a reason you want an aftermarket column? Factory ones are readily available and in most cases a lot better quality that most aftermarket with the exception of Ididit and Flaming river. Is it a certain look you want?

Re: Steering column 101
I don't necessarily want an aftermarket one. A factory style will so me just fine. My truck was a 3 on the tree and now I have a floor shifter so I want to do away with the manual column.
