Any Southwest Michigan area members out there?
Just picked up this 71 last June in Wyoming, MI. This truck was born and raised in MI. It was made in Flint, and spent remaining time in Southwest Michigan and Grand Rapids. I have been wondering if there are any other members in my neck of the woods.

Tailgate has the John Underwood Dealership stick from 1971 on it still. Dealership was out of Clinton, Michigan.

Re: Any Southwest Michigan area members out there?
While not in the southwest part of the state, I must say that's a nice truck. I do believe that there are few members of this group over there. Maybe just not the regular posting type. It's pretty amazing that your truck has survived so well being here in Michigan its whole life. not many have, due to our roads and winters.

Re: Any Southwest Michigan area members out there?
Thanks BrianG! I need to get cab corners and supports done in the next couple years. Putting on some Rallies this spring. Besides that I want to leave the truck as original as possible. I'm getting impatient waiting for all this snow to melt up here in the "Nation's High Five". The truck is cold and lonely in the garage.

Looks like you have a nice start on a hubcap and sign collection ,they can be as much a habit as these trucks .

I'm from the U.P., but my inlaws are in St. Joe so I get down there occassionaly. I looked through your album. Nice truck, especially for a lifetime MI truck too! It looks like the same color scheme as mine.
