three on the tree linkage
I am looking for linkage to get rid of a bad floor shifter and I have found someone who has the parts but I read that if you have a v8 then you have to get linkage from a v8 not I6. Is this correct or are the the same? Any help is appreciated

Re: three on the tree linkage
I swapped out my 250 6 cyl for a 350 v8 on my 72 K10 and I used all of the same original parts/linkage from my manual 3 speed column with no problems. I'm not sure if a C-10 would be different. My engine swap dropped right in, but I've heard it's a little more complicated doing the swap on theC10

Re: three on the tree linkage
Not sure of the answer, but if you end up needing V8 linkage, I have that off of a 69 column shift 3 speed, if that is what you are working with. And I am located just south of you where it was much warmer this morning, -6 degrees.
