Is this eclectic?
Terrible pic, but I snapped this with my phone as I was leaving the shop tonight. It just struck me as interesting.

Re: Is this eclectic?
Son in law lays claim to the Blazer. 383 stroker, 350 turbo, rear air. It's handy for hauling the grandkids.
Blue and white Longhorn is my daily driver, big block, 700R ps, pb and air. I've had the red and white super since October of 1988. I did a fame off build on it to original. since added Dropped spindles and springs. I am in the process of putting the wheelcovers and whitewalls back on it. |

Re: Is this eclectic?
I drove that red and white one thru your area a couple years ago on my way to Goodguys Des Moines from Gatlinburg, TN. That was quite a trip from here to Gatlinburg, to Des Moines and back.

Re: Is this eclectic?
That's a nice big shop Larry. Great looking trucks. Eclectic, yes. But there is one model missing, a short step side.

Re: Is this eclectic?
You know, thats interesting. I have owned pretty much all the models over the years, except a stepside. I've got some short fleets out back, but no steps.

Re: Is this eclectic?
Very cool, but definitely not eclectic. At least to my understanding of the word.

Re: Is this eclectic?
I just thought from Websters definition, a Longhorn GMC, dropped 2wd Blazer, restored big block Corvette, and an all original Mercedes might qualify.
2eclectic noun eclec·tic \e-ˈklek-tik, i-\ Definition of ECLECTIC : one who uses a method or approach that is composed of elements drawn from various sources : one who uses an eclectic method or approach |

The fuzzy picture adds to the dream-like image

Re: Is this eclectic?
Nothing more ordinary than multiple Chevys. Eclectic would be a bunch of goofy crap like bubble cars that open in the front, Amphi-Cars, and other odd ball stuff. That first picture looks like a dream with the fuzzy focus and all

Yeah, I guess the "drawn from various sources" does kind of shoot my theory down.

Eclectic? OK, so I had to look up the definition. Still not sure, maybe in a philosophical sense? https://www.google.com/#q=eclectic |
