1972 GMC 3500 Longhorn

Straight bare frame...or could include rearend, bed, etc. and some other parts if wanted/needed. This was a 402/400 truck. Most of this truck has been parted in another thread. Asking $150 for the bare frame and or open to trades.

Would love to have frame and a nice bed. What would you want for it and I'd have to have help loading on shipper

Re: 1972 GMC 3500 Longhorn

$150 for the bare frame...options with other parts could be added, but finding a shipper for a non running, non roller might be difficult to say the least...

I do understand but needed to know price wise if it makes sense to start. I think I have a shipper

Re: 1972 GMC 3500 Longhorn

I am in need of a Longhorn Bed but am having a hard time locating one in Idaho. I have asked a freight shipping company we use at my work to give me a ball park quote. If it isn't crazy, i will get in touch with you.

I saw your other thread but didn't see many pics of the bed condition. If you wanted to throw any up here, that would be awesome.

Re: 1972 GMC 3500 Longhorn

Can you please let me know the zip code where the truck is and whether it is at a business or residential address? And whether you're even willing to do this? It would need to be on a couple pallets...
Thanks

Re: 1972 GMC 3500 Longhorn

Bed from this Longhorn is gone....but I do have another Longhorn bed or two. I will get pics for you and post here. Will be tomorrow or Thursday. As far as location, it can be at my home or I can take it to my work on a trailer, but there would be no loading dock. I have delivered items to a freight company in Mira Loma, CA and that worked out well...

Thanks for the reply man. I was actually lucky enough to find one a couple hundred miles away that I can pick up myself.

Re: 1972 GMC 3500 Longhorn

Well now that I have a bed I still need some bits I'm having a hard time getting

I need the bed brackets that rivet to the frame. I took a picture of some from a c10 that are not the right size but look close. The rivets that hold them to the frame are easily blown off with a torch if you feel inclined to help me out

The circled brackets are the ones I am in need of. The center to center on the towers should be about 6 3/4" and 5 3/4" on the plates. I do not need The towers that are closest to the cab.

Thanks!

Re: 1972 GMC 3500 Longhorn

I will take them! I'm also looking for the rear brake line that runs along the frame, plus the rubber line that connects that line to the axle brake line. Also for a longhorn.

Any longhorn badges?
Thanks

Re: 1972 GMC 3500 Longhorn

That bed looks workable, I'm looking for no rust. Are the wheel wells, cross members , tail gate good? If you can, pics of any problem areas you see. Same with frame ,if you could look them over good I'd appreciate it !!Thanks

Noted on the emblems and the bed mounts look great. However that's not the brake line I'm after. I'm actually after the one circled in the picture. And the rubber part that connects the circled frame line to the axle line.
Thanks!

If doo142 passes on the tailgate I might be interested in it if your willing to ship and if the price is right.
