Removing roof skin
Are there any secrets to removing the roof skin without damaging the top or drip rails? I've seen quite a few people do it on the forums, but even after drilling out the spot welds, the roof does not want to separate. I'm don't want to pry on the skin too much because then the drip rail edge will bend.

Re: Removing roof skin
hello you probably missed some spot welds and usually the ones you did cut out there may be a little weld still holding. I used a small prybar that has a angle I sharpened it like a blade to get between skin and rain gutter to pop the welds loose, the stubborn ones I I had to do some more drilling good luck!
