Re: 4 inch lift pics 67- 72 k30's
So I would assume you did all the work you self if I could figure out how to download pics to this sight I would show you mine Pretty sweet story raely got the truck for 200 from a old farmer I know the original coil lead burned due to a bad regulator so a shoddy mechanic they had work on it wired it for a electronic ignition so naturally it would burn the points within minutes got it home put a hei distributer in it and fired right up!!!! Any way how hard is it to fix the rocker floor pan rust that is typical to these trucks? I am a good welder fab guy but not much experience doing body work?

Re: 4 inch lift pics 67- 72 k30's
Gentlemen, I am building a 72 GMC quad cab 4x4 on a one ton longhorn frame. 6" suspension lift on dana 60 rears and 44 fronts with 4:11's. I am putting 315/75R16's under and want ball joints that wont submit to heavy tire wight and hard core days in the field..
Any recomends?? Ive been looking at Spicer and Proforged |

Well first thing first if you have a ball joint 60 the least of your worries will be ball joints the spring mount pads are way wider than your long horn frame!!! If you are using a 44 dynatrac offers a Re-buildable ball joint!

Graft and stretch job... building it for extreme duty. I'm wanting ball joint an tie rods to handle the tire size and off road challenges..

If there is an American made extreme duty B joint available, I will spend the $.i don't want to rebuild the front end in 30k miles..

Re: 4 inch lift pics 67- 72 k30's
I think I would go with a 14 bolt rear and if you have the $$$ to spend build a customs 14 bolt for the front using crane hd king pin 60 nuckles watched a episode of xtreme 4x4 were they bult one pretty sweet! They make a kit crane xtreme14 look it up! Then you would have a cool custom axle to go with a cool custom truck!!!!
