Recommendations for a vehicle transporter
I am looking for a reliable and affordable vehicle transporter. The blazer is located in indiana and needs to be delivered to northern california. The blazer is a project, so i am not worried about handling with a lot of care lol. Thanks in advance.

Re: Recommendations for a vehicle transporter
I just recently used Van 3 Transport. Their main hub is out of Chicago. They picked up a Blazer from rural Colorado, they were the cheapest I could find. Good Luck!

Re: Recommendations for a vehicle transporter
Does it run?
Makes a difference in rates and who will do it. I have used USHIP several times and like it......it's on the show Shipping Wars You post your vehicle and shippers bid on it........ You can pick who you want or decline all You can pick open or enclosed etc...... Also shippers have feedback ratings just like EBay so you can read how they do www.uship.com Oh yea......some even do an Escrow account.......when you accept the bid you pay up front into an escrow account and when vehicle is delivered and you are happy you release payment.......you can even do it with your app on phone. If there is a problem you have arbitration

I've had mostly good experience with Uship.

Re: Recommendations for a vehicle transporter
Me too, I have used them twice for two long Jimmy hauls. Usually the first couple of bids you'll get are from brokers and they will be high since they will act as middlemen who try to find someone who will actually do the haul and they take a cut. With a little luck you may get a bid directly from the company that is actually doing the hauling and these tend to be lower, particularly from small companies. Good luck with your project and at least the people on some interstate will have something interesting to look at as your truck passes them on its way to you.
