WTB: Power parts
I am wanting to buy, in no particular order, the following parts. I don't have to have them all at once or immediately but am looking to piece meal as I have a few dollars and/or come across some good deals. I have a '72 Chevy C10, Short-Step with power nothing, 3spd on column and 250 Six. I live near Kansas City.
Need soon: -Windshield, clear or tinted, mines cracked Would like to find: -Power steering -Late model steering wheel -Tilt column -Power brake boost, brackets and rod, etc. -Late 80's or early 90's bench seat with fold down armrest, condition not a big deal as I will re-cover Maybe someday: -Small block chevy, displacement doesn't matter to me -Air conditioning If anyone is close to me and has a good deal and/or reasonable price on any of the above, please give me a shout. Thanks again. This forum is great, I am learning tons!

The 6 PS pump/bracket setup is unique to the 250CI engine and is not a common item (=expensive). If you are planning to go with a V8 setup down the road, you may want to consider this upgrade when you do the engine. The PS gearbox is the same on all 68-81 trucks, regardless of engine. If you do want PS on your I6, don't limit your search to just trucks. Any pre-1977 Nova, Chevelle, Camaro, etc with a factory 250 and PS will have compatible pump, brackets, and pulley setups. Another heads up is that the 292 I6 PS setup is different and will not bolt on to the 250.
For Teeitup (Randy) click on "Members" button and locate his board name and you can PM (Private message) or e-mail him from there.

Thanks CPNE! Good info. I am eventually, when I get enough moolah, going to swap for a SB Chevy. Right now I think I want to start collecting for that day in regards to PS, etc. The PB I think I can hook up now and get the benefit but the PS and eventually R4 tranny will have to wait to be installed.
Bill, the PS and PB I am VERY interested in as long as they still work and have all parts. Am interested in windshield too but dunno if that will cost too much to ship. I PM'ed you. THANKS!
