fan and shroud question
I am currently getting ready to put my 67 c 20 suburban on the road. I am missing the fan and shroud. I will probably put AC on it next year. My questions are.
Does the clutch fan diameter differ from non AC to AC trucks? What makes the ac shroud differ from no ac shroud? Any help is appreciated. Charles |

Re: fan and shroud question
The difference in the shroud is the depth, ac radiators are typically thicker so the shroud is shorter. This was the best deal I found on a heavy plastic shroud.http://www.usa1industries.com/1967-7...-2wd-w-ac.html I had to trim mine because I have a long water pump. Advance Auto had the best deal on clutch and blades, the most important making sure you have the right depth clutch (not too close to radiator) and fan size for the shroud.
