that actually looks pretty clean from this side of the Mess-roplex! where are you located? Will you use it for parts only?

Re: 66 followed me home

It's kinda odd.. Top of the cab is completely gone from rust but doors , rockers etc. are in pretty good shape. Don't feel to bad about parting it out, front of the cab has been smashed right above the windshield. So many have wound up going for junk at least this one is a donor... I am in the Texas panhandle.

I think I will see if the ole 6 will turn over. It's been parked under the before mentioned tree since 1977......

Re: 66 followed me home

Does the brow above the windshield rust because the seam sealer lets water in the pinch portion of the roof????

Could have but more than likely mice got in there and wet in their nests which rotted it out from the inside.

Nice looking donor right there.

Might even qualify as "Patina Porn"? At least from this angle. Love it.

Re: 66 followed me home

I would really like to have a bed like that for my '64 K20. I don't have one at all at the moment. Truck looks good from this angle. All the old trucks in our area are getting junked and leaving it very hard to find parts to restore trucks with. I hate the scrappers sometimes.
