my new BFF 69 vw
I Was in deep with the Volkswagens back when they were still roaming the earth along side of the dinosaurs !! LOL. I had everything from beetles to squarebacks. then got into the vettes, then trucks. just last week I fell back in love with early bugs. 60-66 vw beetle. bought a 69 beetle its all original and all rust free. not the 1965 I really want but it will do for now. and another kool thing about these is...not only are the cars cheap but the parts are cheap also!
here it is. $2400.00 running/driving/and stopping.. no dings or dents. 1 repaint. great condition!! thx for stopping by, dave

Re: my new BFF 69 vw
Very cool catch there. I had a '68 swing axle painted the same color. Very fun car to drive. My wife wants one now. We were dating when I had my last one 27 years ago, and was not honest with me when I told her I wanted to get rid of it. She actually wanted me to keep mine, but was too bashful to tell me to keep it.
One good thing was, I used the money to but a '72 4 eye 1/2t SWB, 250 six with 3 on the tree.

Re: my new BFF 69 vw
Sounds like a killer deal. For my '69 I spent more than twice what you paid. Rust free is hard to find around here and brings more than in AZ I guess.

Nice score! My first car was a 67 Bug and I now have a 68 SQBK waiting for its turn.

Re: my new BFF 69 vw
thanx for all the complements everyone! as I come closer to finishing my 65 short, wide, I am starting to think more and more about the bug! I would like to iron out the rough idle, put new tires on it, and drive it. well, when it gets cooler out. already hit 100 last week.
again, thx, dave
