Outer rocker welding question
Anyone know if the outer rocker gets spot welded down to the inner rocker along the door gasket area? Mine were too far gone to know where the welds would be.

Re: Outer rocker welding question
Thanks Gary. I'm going to weld it in right now.
I don't see why anyone would complain about these classic parts rockers. The fit is superb and the price is unbeatable. All of my patch panels are spot on

Re: Outer rocker welding question
The patch panels now are much better than the use to be. I once tried putting repop rockers on ( 20 yrs ago ) and they were just horrible. Luckily back then you could still get them from the chevy dealership. I used Triplus rockers on my current project and the fit great !

Re: Outer rocker welding question
Thanks for all your help. Right side rocker is done. Now off to the left side rust repairs. Then the bed will have to come off to replace the cab corners.
I didn't set the door first, but I took careful measurements before I cut the old one out. It worked out fine on this side. The other side is all gone and I will have to set the door on to make sure the rocker is at the right height.
