Hey guys, know anywhere I can buy the bottom replacement seat foam? I can find it for every other year but ours.

None available Danny. I looked high and low. You will have to use your old piece as a pattern and trim a new piece to size.

Re: Seat foam for 64 gmc
I just re-did my 65 using an LMC vinyl kit. The foam is 2" cushion foam. Check a place like Jo-Anne fabrics or any big box sewing / craft place. It will take a piece of 2'x6' to do the job.
I used that, then layed another 1" thick piece and then a layer of 1" cotton batting it turned out nice. If you can't find the 2" thick foam, just get multiple 1" thick and layer it. Walmart sells the 1" in their craft section. |

Re: Seat foam for 64 gmc
Thanks for the info on the foam! Hopefully I can knock out my floors this weekend so I can do the seat and put it back in. It's spring in Chicago and I have no garage so fingers crossed it doesn't snow haha

Also check on some hardware stores. I did a '63 seat a while back and a small hardware store carried a variety of foam. I got 3" medium density for the bottom and trimmed and contoured it to fit. Also check with upholstery shops, many times you can just take in the bottom and have it done for cheaper than you can buy the foam.
