270 oil Pressure readings correct?
Hello, I just changed the oil in my 55 270 and wanted to check if these oil pressure readings are correct/ normal. Upon initial start have between 50-60. Once I drive it for a few miles and it gets hot drops to about 15 at idle and back up to 40ish on acceleration. These readings are with an aftermarket gauge.
Any guidance always appreciated. |

That's not bad, It just says your motor is showing some wear. 1 lbs per 100 rpm is acceptable.

Mine is 40lbs at idle and 35lbs at accelerator? Guessing that is really good
