clutch pedal options?
So I'm looking to get a 80-87 Chev or gm. I'm looking for truck that is already standard but I may not be able to get one. So I'm wondering what my options are for making a auto a standard. (If I can't find a factory standard)
-could I use the wilwood clutch pedal assembly? Its a single pedal and bolts to the fire wall. Would it work? -wilwood clutch and brake pedal assembly? Its 2 pedals. -or factory clutch and brake pedal assembly from another truck and swapping it in. Very hard to find though. Is it my only option? |

I would use the assembly out off a junkyard truck. One of the great thing about GM is there inter changeability,

definitely go for a gm factory pedal set and go for hydro one 85 and up.(rod ones are tough on knees but to each is own).get the whole deal at a junkyard steering column and pedal set with all the bracket (clutch cylinder brackets)etc.keep the electrical wires connected and cut the wires .there is a lot of 1 ton stretched frame firewood box in junkyards around here most of them were manual . from there you can decide witch transmission you want if you cant find a truck who's already manual.
