Your opinions please.....
I am readying my 72 K10 for paint and it was determined and agreed that it was better money spent to buy two new Zinc Fenders than fix the old ones. They just arrived here a little while ago. My question is: Should I POR 15 the back sides of the fenders prior to putting them on the truck or just leave them in the primer they came in???
Thanks

POR 15 only works on rust, as it is a converter. Won't stick to paint.

Por15 will work on bare metal also you just have to do the proper prep work. go read thier website it tells you exactly how to do it.
I think Por15 is the better choice as it will provide outstanding protection from the exact type of elements the inside of a fender is exposed to. Mike |

Some undercoating will provide a little sound deadening.
