My truck has gremlins (in the dash)

Something strange is going on...
I noticed while driving the other day the dash lights blink when I flip the turn signals on.
A couple important things to know,
This started after I installed electronic flashers for the turn signals and hazards.
Only the aftermarket gauges are blinking. Not the stock speedo and fuel gauge.
They don't blink when the lights are on.

Does anyone have experience with the electronic flashers? I think they are causing it somehow...
I installed them so I could use LED bulbs.

Even if someone had a similar problem so I could get a clue as to where/what to look for.
I checked everything out, this has me stumped. Any info is appreciated.

It sounds to me like one or more of the ground wires for the blinkers is faulty causing a return path to the battery through the dash.

Re: My truck has gremlins (in the dash)

Just an update on this, I found out the front LED marker lights/turn signals were causing it.
I put the standard bulbs back in and it fixed the problem.
So mrein3 was right, I think the ground isn't strong enough for LEDs somehow.
The LED tail lights work fine though.

You must have fed your mogwai after midnight, good news is to kill a gremlin you only have to shine some sunlight on it. If they are behind your dash, maybe try a mirror on the floor. No need to thank me, I believe in karma!
