HELP drop kit problems

My drop kit I ordered came in and am installing it currently, its a 5" 3" kit. Front went together well but im not seeing how the rear is suppose to work. The brackets don't make contact with under side of perch and im afraid it will not be centered or will walk. Help please and thanks

looks like you have it in the right spot, but if it does not reach, you might have the wrong kit.

is this on a c10? it looks like you have a c10 kit on a c30 (axle tubes are bigger)

Re: HELP drop kit problems

I'd just do shackles and hangers then gets you a 4 inch drop. It's what I just did on my c30. I also removed the overload spring since I'm adding air helpers anyway and got it down another inch and installed new leaf spring centering pin bolts and u bolts wile I was at it.

Whatever drop you have now would be the same w/a better quality kit. I would not run any flip bracket that is not reinforced under the axle tube (& why I suggest Bell Tech or Western Chassis).

Re: HELP drop kit problems

Only way I can find it and have it fast is with buying it with the c notch, ill just use the c notch on a future project. I didn't look into the flip kit like I should have and those flip brackets look like flat stock I could have made in my vise.

I would listen to him.
I looked his set-up up & they only list kits w/c-sections as 'in stock for immediate delivery'. The kit w/o c-sections indicate May-5 availability.

But..... many times, they will pad delivery times (under promise/over deliver). It's worth asking specific info on actual delivery times.
