Modified front crossmember
Has anyone modified a factory front crossmember to use tubular arms with the thru bolt rather than the ubolts??
Looking to modify xmember and eliminate weak points |

Re: Modified front crossmember
there was a guy that did them years ago. he raised the lower pivot up into the crossmember so nothing hung down below it. you had to cut s lot down the bottom of the crossmember and the new lower a-arm bracket fit up into the slot and bolted to the crossomember using the original lower a-arm u-bolt holes.
I can't remember the guys name, he also do r&p conversions
