BRC Big Red Chevy

Well after years of searching and finally letting my K10 go I located and purchase my crew cab!!

1991 Chevy Crew V3500
454/4L80/205/Dana 60/14 Bolt

In her current state she is sitting on a 2" lift with 255/85R16 Toyo MT

She needs paint and a little bit of inteior work but man is she solid!!!!

I had been wanting to build a Crew SWB but I think i am going to keep her LONG!!!!

Sorry for the cell phone pics but here she is

Re: BRC Big Red Chevy

For now I think paint and repair the interior, it runs very well for a 219K truck and all the drive train is original to the truck. some day it might see a LS but not any time soon.

Re: BRC Big Red Chevy

Say, when you get time, would you mind doing me a favor and get a measurement from the ground to the front and rear fender openings? That looks like a bit more than 2" lift. And are the tires 255 85 16?

Re: BRC Big Red Chevy

I will try to get the measurements today. I have the receipt from Off road design where he ordered 2" tuff country HD springs it also has off road design shackles but they don't lift but maybe 1/2" or so and yes 255"s

Thanks for the measurements! I like the white wheels and hub caps better personally.

Re: BRC Big Red Chevy

Perhaps i should also ask, how do you like the ride with those springs? Do you feel like they could be a little softer? Or does it ride almost perfect as is?

Re: BRC Big Red Chevy

Keeping the white wheels for now, they will be installed once we get moved to OKC

Glad that I could help y5mgis, the ride is great!! I don't think that I would ever use another brand lift ever!!! I have owned several K10's and almost all of them had Rough County lifts (They are an hour from my house) and the last K10 had a TC soft ride. That truck was the best K10 SWB ride that I had ever had!!! The crew has the HD springs fro the big block but it still rides like my wife's 09 Tahoe
