I would like a pair of nice doors to cut to fit my blazer . They don't need to have paint. Let me know what you got.

Truck doors work for a blazer BTW (just in case you didn't know that) I put truck doors on my blazer, you just have to cut off the top window member at the right dimension. I have the dimension if you need it. Worked great for me! Just my 2 cents

Here's some pic's of the door that were on my blazer. I can also measure mine new ones once I make sure that they work (I need to put the vent windows back into mine when it gets back from the paintshop). I SHOULD be picking it up tonite, of course that would only by the millionith time I have heard my blazer "will be done tonite" and it NEVER is...Sorry just venting! The top of the door is cut to a taper on mine, and my doorcaps fit over that.

Here is the finished product with the doorcap on. The doorcap can also hide alot. My doorcaps taper and so the door cut has to taper, like you can see in the 1st pic. Hope this helps...if all else fails just look at your doors you have now and match em'.

The best thing you guys can do to convert your doors is to take you current Blazer door off, set it next to your truck door, get a small steel ruler and a protractor and go to work. Take a little bit off at a time and check the layout frequently. It is WAY easier to do it this way then to work from measurements. Then when you are done you can compare the two doors and make sure they are indentical.

Its easy enough to take the plate off and reweld it back on so why not? They had to of have a reason to put it there.

Yep, you need the plate if you plan on driving with the top off or off road or both.

I'VE HAD A PAIR OF CUT DOWN PICKUP DOORS ON MY BLAZER FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS, WITHOUT THE REINFORCING PLATES, & NO CRACKS SO FAR. I ALSO TAKE MY TOP OFF EVERY SUMMER, & I'VE PUT OVER 150,000 MILES ON IT IN THE LAST 8 YEARS. (& I DO TAKE IT OFF ROAD EVERY NOW & THEN) JOHN

Somebody mentioned Blazer doors got hinge plate brackets. Are these inside the door or outside? Upper hinge, lower hinge, or both? Are these in addition to the extra stamped sheet metal reinforcement plate around the latch?

It probably depends on where you drive and many other factors. I don't lock my doors when I go to the store and never have anything stolen. I'm not in the same type of neigborhood as others. Why take a chance when a couple of tack welds will prevent any problems? Remember, when GM decided to do something about a "problem" , it was a REAL problem. An example of a "not a problem": concider the rocker boxes and windshield frame. Or as I like to refer to them as the "dirt scoop" and the "Fram O' rust". My point: if GM said there was a problem, then there REALLY was a problem.

They ARE the reinforced plates around the latches. Take a few hours and transfer yours to the pick-up doors. If, for no other reason, Peace of Mind.
